If you delete something good…

Macs are indestructible.Macs are reliable.Macs don’t crash.I have a Mac.
Yesterday while I was working on a presentation it turned itself off.Not a single word, nor a “see you around”. Total silence. A black screen. It just stopped working.Claudio Farina, our fabulous I.T. guy, “the printer whisperer“, attempted an I.T CPRBut then with a sad, dejected look said: “Oh, did you have something important on there?”
Did.That “did” sounded like a death sentence.

Demoralized, I went to get a coffee, leaving Claudio to work. It’s true that Macs don’t crash but when they do, they do it well. Mine had crashed as soon as I had finished writing my presentation. Not before, nor in the middle but right when I finished it !At the coffee machine, I met Marco Magri, our graphic designer. The coffee room, in Italian companies, is not only a setting for social exchanges but a place where you argue, where you get things off your chest and where problems are solved. All the best ideas came about next to that coffee machine.Marco noticed that I looked demoralized “Would you like a coffee?”After telling him what had happened and repeating that:
Macs are indestructible.Macs are reliable.Macs don’t crash.
He looked at me and said : “if you delete something good, don’t worry about it, you might have deleted something that you can better!”
Marco has a Mac too (it is only a question of time…) ????
